- Graduate student at the University of Santa Barbara (California), stationed at CERN for work on the CMS experiment. Took the long way around into experimental physics, but am pretty happily entrenched in the world of data analysis as of this date. I am also involved in studies of the CMS trigger system from a physics standpoint, and will likely become involved in tracker upgrades R&D in the near future. Other than biking, I am as un-athletic as is possible for a person to be (and still be alive) -- much more inclined to paint mountains than climb them.
